Hey everybody. Who’s ready for the Big Shed Haulers Bash in Texas? Couple updates to get you all wound up for the event in Temple TX. Event plans. Similar to previous years we will have a meet and greet Thursday Oct 16 with gates open to trucks and vendors at first light. General public welcome at noon. Afternoon will be meet and greet and show/shine contests. Steak dinner will be served around 5:30 pm. Reservations will be required for the dinner. Stay tuned to this page for a link to purchase tickets. There will be the usual door prizes, prizes for rigs who came the distance etc. Presentations by our sponsors who qualify and in general a good time. Light show after dark followed by a parade. Details on the parade are still being worked on. Friday October 17 will be contests along with food vendors present. Now for the big surprise. Everybody that brings a complete rig to the Bash will be entered in a drawing. Only complete rigs. No bobtail rigs or pilot cars will be entered. One driver that brings a rig will win an all expense paid helicopter hog hunt for the next day. He will have the option of picking his 3 companions. The hunt includes up to 4 hunters. All guns and ammo are supplied. Now some housekeeping. We are renting a private venue with lots of parking. There are at least 20 spaces for RVs to park. However the RV hookups do not include shore power or sewer. Only water. Plan on bringing a generator. Most of the parking will be on grass. Rigs will all be parked on grass with a gravelly subsurface. This is a kid friendly event and kids are welcome.
